COMPILER VENTURE CAPITAL INVESTS IN MEDICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TO CREATE NEW ERA IN HEALTHCARE

MIAMI, FL, March 20, 2019 - Compiler Venture Capital (Compiler), an investment fund based in Miami, FL, announced today that it has invested $4 million in UK-based, Medical Management Systems Ltd.(MMS), an international leading provider of electronic health records (EHR), patient scheduling and revenue cycle management (RCM) through their proprietary online digital healthcare framework called Meddbase.

Compiler Venture Capital and Medical Management Systems have a shared vision to create health IT solutions that support clinicians and improve patient experience and outcomes. Compiler’s investment will ensure continued growth and development of new products and services, and the hiring of top talent.

MMS Managing Director and Founder, Will Temple, said, “As the fastest growing electronic management records (EMR) provider in the UK, we were approached by several investors. In Compiler, we found both an investor and a partner who has devoted both money and time. As we expand into the public sector in the UK by getting on NHS spine and simultaneously growing our US presence, having an accretive investor was our highest priority.”

Meddbase USA will be led by Compiler General Partner Hossein Noshirvani in the role of CEO, bringing years of experience in developing and growing products in the US market. Adam Wolman, a general partner of Compiler Venture Capital said, “We are trying to make London a hub of healthcare innovation and Meddbase is currently leading the way in delivering SaaS EHR to some of the largest private providers and insurers in the UK. Compiler is strategically investing in innovative companies that are at the top of their field, helping them to achieve their full potential. MMS is a natural fit for us, and we are thrilled to support them as they continue to advance and develop world-class EHR that impact patients throughout the world by helping physicians to offer the highest level of care.”

“The synergies between MMS and Compiler will allow us to continue investing in our people, our product and our sales to solve important healthcare challenges,” said Paul Louth, CTO and founder of MMS. “Our focus for the past 14 years has been on developing new, innovative ways to support the needs of our customers. Partnering with Compiler will allow us to continue focusing on both current and new customers and developing more effective and efficient solutions to meet their needs.”
